APR Scholarship

In 2022, the PRSA Midwest District launched a scholarship program for members (within the District) who earned their accreditation. Eligible candidates can apply to receive $100 reimbursement for the cost of the APR test.

The scholarship is eligible to members even if they received scholarships from their local PRSA or received the $100 rebate from PRSA for passing the APR examination on the first try.

The scholarship fund is limited to five applicants per year and distributed on a first come basis. The application period ends on Dec. 1 or when all the funds have been distributed. 

To apply for the scholarship, send an email to prsamidwest@gmail.com with the subject line "APR Scholarship Application." The email should include the following information: name, chapter membership, date of accreditation, cell phone number (for Zelle money transfer) and a brief statement (3-4 sentences) about why you decided to pursue your APR and what you learned from the process or your experience. Additionally, please indicate if you authorize the District to promote your name and comments on the Districts website.
